「TFTP Daemon 1.2.4」は Jonathon Fletcher 氏作、MacOSで動くTFTPサーバーアプリケーションです
System 7.1以降 MacOS8以降推奨
Open Transport 1.1 以降が必要です (MacTCPでは動きません)とうたってあります。
fat binary 形式なので 68K and PPC Macintoshes どちらでも動くそうです。
MacOS 9.1J + Power Macintosh7200 で動きました。
複数のクライアントから PUT GET 共にできます、ログもちゃんと残ります、なのに、本来の目的とした機械からGET できませんでした。LinuxのTFTPサーバーからもGETできなかったから、これはクライアントの問題なのでしょう。 このため使用を断念。
ダウンロードした「install-tftpd-124.sit.hqx」を解凍すると、インストーラー「Install TFTP Daemon 1.2.4」ができます。 このインストーラーを起動するとインストール先を聞いてきますから、適当なところを指定します。「TFTP Daemon 1.2.4 Folder」がつくられインストールされます。これで終わりです。
初回起動時、起動「システムフォルダ」内の「初期設定」フォルダ内に、フォルダー「TFTP Folder」を作成します、この中にログファイル「TFTP Transaction Log」および読み出し用「readable」、書き込み用「writeable」フォルダを作成します。
読み出し用「readable」、書き込み用「writeable」フォルダはエイリアスに対応しています、この二つはシステムフォルダ外や他のディスク上にフォルダを置くことができます。あるいは読み書きを1つのディレクトリーにしたい場合、同じフォルダーのエイリアスにすることができます。
TFTP Daemon 1.2.4 アイコンをダブルクリックすることで起動し、Macを終了または再起動すると終了します。
MacOS機上でバックグランドアプリケーションとして機能します。ソフトウエアが表示するアラート等以外、メニューバー等のユーザーインターフェースをもっていません。
起動項目に登録するとMac起動時に起動しますが、このような使い方はやめましょう！
